Privacy Policy

Account details. Your email address and display name when you create an account, and your name and email from Google if you choose to sign in with Google. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored by us in readable form.

Your creations. The prompts you type, and the games generated from them: titles, descriptions, cover and character artwork, and the game file itself. If you use the edit chat, we also store the messages you send with it.

Gameplay and community data. Scores you submit, the display name you choose for the leaderboard, and your likes, dislikes and ratings.

Subscription data. Your subscription status, the email on the subscription, and identifiers supplied by our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal). We never see or store your card number or bank account details.

Device and usage data. Basic technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and error reports, plus small pieces of data stored on your device (a sign-in session and conversion flags).

• To create your account, sign you in, and verify your email address.
• To generate games and artwork from your prompts and to power the edit chat.
• To save your library, run the public Arcade, and show leaderboards and ratings.
• To process payment, give you your free trial, manage your subscription, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To keep the service working and improve it, including error monitoring and performance measurement.
• To measure how people find the app, including ad conversion measurement.
• To answer your support requests and comply with our legal obligations.

Your prompt is sent to third-party AI services to build your game, create the artwork, and handle edit requests. Those providers process the prompt under their own terms and only to deliver the result back to us.

Games you generate are added to your library and can be played by anyone in the public Arcade, where the title, description, artwork, original prompt and scores are visible. Please do not put personal, confidential or sensitive information into a prompt. We do not use your prompts to train AI models of our own.

Payments are handled by Stripe (card) and PayPal. They receive the details needed to process your payment and are responsible for that payment data under their own privacy policies. We receive a subscription record containing your status, subscription identifiers and email so we can unlock your access.

We use essential local storage to keep you signed in, and small flags so we do not count the same conversion twice. We also use Google Ads measurement tags. We do not run a third-party advertising network inside the app. Clearing your browser data will sign you out.

We record product analytics events (for example, when a game is generated or a subscription starts) and use Google Ads conversion measurement to understand which campaigns lead to signups and subscriptions. We do not sell your personal information.

We share data only with the service providers that run the app:

• Base44: app hosting, database, authentication, file storage, AI gateway and analytics.
• Google: sign-in, AI game and image generation, and ads conversion measurement.
• Stripe and PayPal: subscription payments.

Each of them processes your data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

Your data is stored with our platform provider on cloud infrastructure, which may be located outside your country, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure it stays protected wherever it is processed. Game files you download are saved on your own device.

We keep your account and creations while your account is active. Deleting your account removes your account record and signs you out. Games you already generated may remain in the library and Arcade, and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Email us if you would like remaining content removed.

• Delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app. This permanently removes your account and access.
• Cancel your subscription through Stripe or PayPal, or by contacting us.
• Limit ad measurement through your browser or device ad settings.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, or to object to certain processing, including under the Australian Privacy Act, the GDPR or the CCPA. Contact us and we will help.

Data is encrypted in transit, access to stored data is restricted, and our platform provider applies industry-standard safeguards. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password for your account.

Game Forge is not intended for children under 13, or under 16 where that is the applicable age in your region. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the app changes. We will update the date at the top, and for significant changes we will make it clear in the app before they take effect.
